Brett M. Gardiner, DDS
Prior to moving to Alaska in 1994, Dr Gardiner lived in Wyoming and Utah. He attended Brigham Young University, served 2 years on a church mission in Guatemala where he learned fluent Spanish, and attended Creighton University’s School of Dentistry in Omaha Nebraska. With 20 years of experience in dentistry he brings kindness and compassion to the care he gives his patients.
When not at work he relishes time spent with his family, which includes his wife Kristy and their three young children; Dallin (9), Jarred (7) and Jenna (5). If not just enjoying being together, they will be found participating in church activities, the kids’ school activities or various sports, where Dr Gardiner will often be found coaching, something he loves. (He does leave the teaching of Jenna’s occasional dance class to the professionals, however.)
Richard E. Williams, DDS
Dr.
Williams grew up in Southern California, obtained a degree in Zoology from the
University of California Riverside and graduated from the U.S.C. School of Dentistry.
He has served as president of the Anchorage Dental Society and on the board
of the United Way and American Cancer Society. Dr. Williams's passion
for leading edge dentistry has taken him across the U.S.
and Canada attending
the best programs available in advanced dental continuing education. He
is currently the only “accredited” member of the American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry in Alaska. He has 2 sons and 2 daughters, and has shared bicycling
adventures with them by riding across the United States from Bar Harbor Maine
to Anacortes Washington. He enjoys traveling, photography, N.P.R., hiking and USC football.
Dr. Terry J. Preece Dr. Terry J. Preece graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1980. He started and maintained a successful private general practice with an emphasis on cosmetics in Layton, Utah for 28 years.
In 2008 he moved to SE Alaska, to the island of Wrangell, where he practiced at a community health center. Being the only dentist on the island, he provided a wide array of dental services for the entire population of 1800 people. In August of 2010 he and his family moved to Anchorage. Dr. Preece attends extensive continuing education courses and is deeply committed to providing high quality, comprehensive, full care dentistry. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Alaska Dental Society, and the Anchorage Dental Society.
He enjoys hunting, fishing, skiing, golfing and spending time with his family. He is an active member of his church. He has been married for 36 years and is the father of three children.
